We all need water
We all need water, whether in The United States of America, or The United States of Mexico. These republics both sovereign and powerful with their immense population centers both demand large usage of water. Within The United States of America, AFTAOM, put for The Lake Abundance Labor, desalination of ocean water and water storage and aqueducts for meeting large scale water needs, link. Similarly AFTAOM puts forth The Trabajar for Mexico to utilize desalination of ocean water, water storage and aqueducts for meeting it’s large scale water needs. Climate variability demands we adapt and plan for our future water needs.
Desalination From Pacific Ocean Into Mexico
Similar to the Lake Abundance Labor (link) The Trabajar will utilize existing watersheds and desalination. Below is an image of watersheds in Mexico.

Basins
The Great Divide Basin in America can be used to store water, as mentioned above the Lake Abundance Labor is a feasible and needed work. In Mexico it would be possible to do likewise with the Bolsón de Mapimí Basin, although on a different scale and different utilization as it is different.
Bolson De Mapimi
“The Bolsón de Mapimí is an endorheic, or internal drainage, basin in which no rivers or streams drain to the sea, but rather toward the center of the basin, often terminating in swamps and ephemeral lakes. It is located in the center-north of the Mexican Plateau. The basin is shared by the states of Durango, Coahuila, Chihuahua, and Zacatecas. It takes its name from Mapimí, a town in Durango.
The largest city in the basin is Torreón. Parts of the basin host much industrial and agricultural activity. However, most of the region is sparsely populated.”

Desalination
It is hoped and planned to continue this series similarly to The Lake Abundance Labor series found on this AFTAOM site for The Trabajar, Mexico’s water needs being met on a large scale. In the meantime please see article below on the power of desalination and an example set by Saudi Arabia for the rest of the world.
